Microsoft WordPad
Wordpad is a rich Text editor program which is so many useful to create the document, open the existing documents, print the documents, format in documents, edit in document and many more thing.
The extension of WordPad files are .rtf

The window of Wordpad is divided into so many parts which are-

1. WordPad Button
WordPad Button, WordPad का एक प्रमुख भाग है, यह बटन Menu/Tab Bar में होता है | इस बटन में WordPad में बनने वाली फाईल के लिए कई विकल्प दिए होते हैइसमें आपको WordPad Document को Save, Open, Print आदि कार्य करने के लिए Commands दी होती है,इन्ही Commands के द्वारा WordPad Documents पर कार्य किया जाता है |
WordPad Button is a major part of WordPad, this button is in the Menu / Tab Bar. This button provides several options for files created in WordPad. In this, you are given Commands to work on Save, Open, Print etc. to WordPad Document, Work on WordPad Documents is done by these Commands.

2. Quick Access Toolbar
Quick Access Toolbar WordPad का एक विशेष भाग है. यह टूलबार Title bar में होता है. इसे हम शॉर्टकट की तरह उपयोग मे लेते है. इस टूलबार में अधिकतर काम आने वाली commands को add कर दिया जाता है और वे इसमे जुड जाती है| Quick Access Toolbar की सहायता से WordPad में कार्य शीघ्रता से होता है|

The Quick Access Toolbar is a special part of WordPad. This toolbar is in the title bar. We use it as a shortcut. Most useful commands are added to this toolbar and they are added to it. Work is done quickly in WordPad with the help of Quick Access Toolbar.

3. Title Bar
Title bar WordPad विंडो का सबसे ऊपरी भाग है, इस बार पर WordPad मे बनाई गई फाईल के नाम को दिखाया जाता है| जब तक फाईल को सेव (save) नही किया जाएगा फाईल का नाम नही दिखाया जाता है और वहां “Document” लिखा होता है, जैसे ही हम फाईल को किसी नाम से सेव (save) करते है, तब “Document” के स्थान पर फाईल नाम दिखाया जाता है| Title Bar के दांये कोने में तीन बटन होते है, इन तीन बटन में पहला बटन “Minimize” होता है, जिस पर क्लिक करने से Open Program का Icon Task Bar में जाता है, इसका मतलब ये होता है कि यह Program अभी बंद नही किया गया है,इसके ऊपर अभी भी काम किया जा रहा है | दूसरा बटन “Maximize or Restore down” होता है, यह बटन विंडो की Width को कम या ज्यादा करने का कार्य करता है, और तीसरा बटन “Close Button” है जो प्रोग्राम को बंद करने का कार्य करता है |

The title bar is the topmost part of the WordPad window, this time showing the file name created in WordPad. Till the file is not saved, the file name is not shown and "Document" is written there, as soon as we save the file by any name, then the file in place of "Document" Name is shown. There are three buttons in the right corner of the Title Bar, the first button in these three buttons is "Minimize", clicking on it brings the Icon Task Bar of the Open Program, this means that this program is not closed yet. Has been done, work is still being done on it. The second button is "Maximize or Restore down", this button works to increase or decrease the width of the window, and the third button is "Close Button" which acts to close the program.
 


4. Ribbon
Ribbon WordPad विंडो का एक और भाग है, यह Title Bar से नीचे होता हैइस भाग में WordPad Tabs (जो विकल्प menu bar में होते है) के विकल्पों को दिखाया जाता है |

Ribbon is another part of the WordPad window, which is below the Title Bar. This section shows the options for WordPad Tabs (which are in the options menu bar).





5. Ruler bar
Ruler Bar WordPad विंडो में Text Area के बिल्कुल ऊपर होती है, इससे हमें Page Margin का पता चलता है| WordPad Document को बनाने से पहले या बाद में जितना Page Margin दिया जाता है, उतना Margin दिखाने के लिए Ruler Bar में दोनों तरफ यानि दांए तथा बांए तरफ Ruler लग जाता है, फिर जो Text लिखा जाता है, वह इनसे बाहर नही जाता है|

The Ruler Bar is located just above the Text Area in the WordPad window, this gives us the page Margin. Before or after creating a WordPad Document, the Ruler Bar appears on both sides ie to the right and left of Ruler to show the amount of page Margin is given, then the text that is written does not go out of it.

6. Status bar
Status bar WordPad विंडो में Text Area के बिल्कुल नीचे होती है, इस बार में “Zoom Level” नामक टूल होता है, जिसकी सहायता से Page को Zoom in तथा Zoom out किया जा सकता है | Zoom in की सहायता से आप WordPad Window को बडा कर सकते है, और Zoom out की मदद से WordPad Window को वापस छोटा किया जा सकता है|

The status bar is located just below the Text Area in the WordPad window, this time there is a tool called "Zoom Level", with which the page can be Zoomed in and Zoomed out. With the help of Zoom in, you can enlarge the WordPad Window, and with the help of Zoom out, the WordPad Window can be reduced back.


7. Text Area
Text Area WordPad का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण भाग है, और यह WordPad विंडो का सबसे बडा तथा मध्य भाग होता है | इसी क्षेत्र मे document text को लिखा जाता है |
The Text Area is the most important part of WordPad, and it is the largest and central part of the WordPad window. Document text is written in this area.




There are total 2 tab Home and View Tab on the Ribbon.
Home Tab- This is the first Tab of Wordpad and it is partitioned into 5 Groups which are- clipboard, Font, Paragraph, Insert, Editing
Clipboard Group- Cut, Copy, Paste

Font Group-
Bold (Ctrl+B)-  This option is used to apply bold/unbold style on the selected texts of our document.
Way to use-
-         Select the texts
-         Click on Home tab
-         Click on Bold
Italic(Ctrl+I)-  This option is used to apply/remove Italic style on the selected texts of our document.
Way to use-
-         Select the texts
-         Click on Home tab
-         Click on Italic
Underline(Ctrl+U)-  This option is used to apply/remove underline style on the selected texts of our document.
Way to use-
-         Select the texts
-         Click on Home tab
-         Click on Underline
Strikethrough- This option is used to draw a line from the middle of the selected texts.
Way to use-
-         Select the texts
-         Click on Home tab
-         Click on strikethrough




Paragraph Group
Decrease Indent- This option is used to decrease the level of indentation in our document.
Way to use-
-         Click on Home Tab
-         Click on Decrease Indent
Increase Indent- This option is used to Increase the level of indentation in our document.
Way to use-
-         Click on Home Tab
-         Click on Increase Indent
Start a list- This option is used to insert different types of list styles in our document.
Way to use-
-         Click on Home Tab
-         Click on Start a list
-         Choose the desired list styles from the list and click on them
Line spacing – this option is used to change the spacing between the lines of texts.
Way to use-
-         Click on Home tab
-         Click on Line spacing
-         Choose the desired line spacing for the texts.
Align text left- This option is used to align the selected texts from the left in our document.
Way to use-
-         Select the texts
-         Click on Home tab
-         Click on Align text left
Center- This option is used to align the selected texts from the Center in our document.
Way to use-
-         Select the texts
-         Click on Home tab
-         Click on Center
Align text right- This option is used to align the selected texts from the right in our document.
Way to use-
-         Select the texts
-         Click on Home tab
-         Click on Align text right
Paragraph- This option is used to show the paragraph dialog box
Way to use-
-         Click on Home Tab
-         Click on paragraph

Insert Group-
Picture- this option is used to insert the pictures in our document from our system.
Way to use-
-         Click on home Tab
-         Click on Picture
-         Choose the desired picture from the computer
-         Click on Open
Paint Drawing- This option is used to insert the drawing created in Ms Paint in our documents.
Way to use-
-         Click on Home Tab
-         Click on paint Drawing
-         Draw the painting what do you want
-         Close the Ms paint window
Date & Time- This option is used to insert system date & time at the current cursor position in our document.
Way to use-
-         Click on Home Tab
-         Click on Date & Time
-         Choose the desired formats
-         Click on Ok
Insert Objects- This option is used to insert different types of objects in our documents.
Way to use-
-         Click on Home Tab
-         Click on Insert Objects
-         Choose the desired objects from the system
-         Click on ok
VIEW TAB
This tab is portioned into 3 groups which are Zoom, Show or hide, settings
Zoom Group-
Zoom In- This option is used to zoomed in for the document.
Way to use-
-         Click on View tab
-         Click on Zoom In
Zoom Out- This option is used to zoomed out for the document.
Way to use-
-         Click on View tab
-         Click on Zoom out
100%- This option is used to zoom the document at 100% directly
Way to use-
-         Click on view tab
-         Click on 100%
Ruler- This option is used to insert or remove the ruler from our document
Way to use-
-         Click on View tab
-         Click on Ruler
Status Bar- This option is used to insert or remove the status bar from our document
Way to use-
-         Click on View tab
-         Click on Status Bar
